ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! that place was a complete madhouse! im geussing around 8000 people on 800 acres. it had its fun moments but for the most part it was caos.

just after dark my wife , my son and i were on our way to the car, thats when we came across a guy in the dark , stuck in the mud  Sad. thats when things got ugly! i helped him get out and he was on his way  Grin, for about 10 feet and he was stuck again  >:(so i helped him get out again Grin. he made it another 10 feet Angry, this time we both got stuck Huh! we managed to get my quad out  Grin, while trying to find some hard ground another guy is stuck [smiley=banghead.gif] . i head over to help him and it was no use ! he was burried [smiley=dunno.gif]! so i try to get unstuck again and my 4WD broke [smiley=angry2.gif] so i have to walk through knee deep muck to find someone with a big enough vehicle to pull us out, wouldnt you know i managed to find the drunkest, most obnoxiouis bunch of idiots out there ! well they drove me over and and let me hook them up with a strap and they proceeded to pull me backwards to high ground Grin. they stopped  and i was still stuck Huh so he nails the gas and i went flying of the quad  [smiley=angry2.gif], i just knew he was gonna make it flip [smiley=angry2.gif], all they could do was laugh [smiley=Angry.gif]. so i swallowed my pride and said thanks for the help. i went back to get my wife and son , we headed to the car , and we got stuck again >:(some guy stopped by and snatched us out and we came home !

Wo Dreth, you had an eventfull day to say the least, sorry to hear about all the problems. From the sound of it, I'm glad I didn't take my son there. He has a cast on his right hand anyway, so mud sounded like a bad idea.

I just got home from all weekend there. It was a madhouse to say the least. No ryme or reason as to why the rules and roads changed at any given moment. The security had it's hands full. I don't know what people think when they go to an event like that. Always racing around and almost causing accidents. Mainly ATV's. They are the stupidest and most obnoxious people out there.
Another thing I don't understand is why someone would bring a sport quad to an event like that. It is a mud event. It is even part of the name. So if you got stuck over and over and over again (like I did) then it is your fault. My arms are feeling like they should not be attached to my body as I tugged and tugged on my machine almost as much as I rode it. The hard packed roads are 5 mph. So, speeding around, like the quadders do/did, only made things a wee bit awkward.
I had fun, but I too will never go back with my sport machine. What was I thinking?
The sherrif said there was approx. 25,000 people! I think it was more like 15-20,000
Sorry to hear about your quad breaking. That stinks.
I saw eiger man there and we rode around a little while. Thanks for the help many times Jim! His front grill cracked during one of the many pushes he gave me. I am sorry. I will replace it if you want. We tried to find people from here but could not. I wanted to meet some of you. I met one guy. Very large man with a friendly smile. I can't remember your handle. (Thank the crown for that!)
I saw plenty of hooters, too!

Wow........I went,got there around 10:30am Sat......Can you say...overcrowded!

I cant say that I didnt have fun,but think it would be a whole ot more fun with about half the people, anyone know a head count,I heard rumors of around 15,000,i know it sure seemed like that,I asked one of the security guys if they were prepared fior that kinda crowd, and he said NO WAY,I know it was Mudfest, but man did I see alot of people(mainly punks around the age of 18-20 give or take) with no respect to other peoples property,"bumping" into other peoples trucks, like if there bike, truck, buggy, whatever was 4ft wide and the space they wanted to go through was 3 3/4 wide, they went anyway.......I guess one should expect that at an event that was so close to out of control.....that I think u might as well just say it was!

Would I go back......well yeah probably so,will definatly go back when their isnt a nat'l band and hopefully the crowd is half the size!

My group decided to get the hell out of there about 7pm,and on the way out we were pretty much told to go a way that was d**n near impassable, the mud was so nasty,my grizz made it through several times, towed a few pople out and was going back for the last one in our group when it finally happened........I broke an axle.....knew it would happen sooner or later...stock axles and 29.5's dont mix.........Just ordered Gorilla axles about 20 mins ago..so that wont happen again!

Well lets hear  some more feed back!!!!

We got home at 3:30 today, like everyone else said "WOW"  Shocked But you can't go to one of these events without expecting all of the mayhem.  I was told 20,000 last night  [smiley=Shocked.gif]Sorry about your hard luck Shawn  Sad  Jeff and I were looking for you guys after we split up, so many people  Shocked  Hey Shawn We have a front drive shaft for your bike if thats what you need?

Thank God I have an Awesome bike  Grin I made it everywhere  [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif]  We went on trail rides on the back 40 just to get away from all of the people that was great, and the best way to get to the front without going in the mudhole after they shut down the road.  The music sucked  Angry

I have 246 pictures I will post tomorrow and put up on my webshots.
We had a blast for the most part  Grin partying with good friends  [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif] Zin, BBF, ATVGirl, Bam-Bam, Nos, Dreth, BigDog, Thrasher, BC, LittleRedNeckGirl, BudMan [smiley=laugh.gif]  Mike & Shelly [smiley=drink.gif]
Too much Fun in the Sun my face is fried! using SPF 30.

I can only say that I had a blast. It was crazy but I loved every minute of it. I did not get stuck much but helped many get out of the mud. It was great to be able to ride all over. I will be there next month for sure.

Allthough it was way too crowded, i had a BLAST! A few of us charged the main mudhole Saturday evening after scouting the best possible route. Got stuck a few times but as long as i kept rocking back and forth with steady throttle i kept on movin!
For everyone that came out for the first time and is saying they wont go back, I would give it another chance. I have been going here for a long time and normally it is very laid back and kid friendly. Even I was shocked when i pulled into the gate on friday night. I was lucky and did not have any bad experiences out there...some people just dont think!

Very true !!! Normal weekends are nothing like this. It is usually very relaxing. It is a must to give it a try on a normal weekend. You will love it. Also knowing the ways around the nasty mud helps. You will learn these routes from riding when you can get around without so many people. I was told by security that there was 20,000 people there.
